Time Out rate 'Don't Talk To Strangers' at no. 5 in their Guide to Tube Etiquette and even making eye contact is thought to be a step too far if you want to be a good commuter. However, whoever is behind the initiative, may have the last laugh. After all, there's nothing like a common enemy for uniting people in the most unlikely of conversations.
